Denis is extremely pleased with his progress and feels he is a well handicapped horse on the flat with Galway a target and can make an exciting dual purpose horse over hurdles. The decision was made to geld him after his second run, when arriving at Hogan's which will have brought him along both physically and mentally. Victory March was considered to be a "big baby" as a 2 year old, and quite coltish. Armory requires little introduction, having won a Group 2 as a 2 year old, and competed in multiple Group 1 contests, amassing almost £1 million in prize money to date! Having made his debut in June 2019 in a typically hot Leopardstown maiden, Victory ran a promising race finishing a respectable 7th of 10, finishing within 3 lengths of stablemate and Group 1 contesting Armory.
